FRANCOIS TRUFFAUT'S
LA MARIÉE ÉTAIT EN NOIR
LA MARIÉE ÉTAIT EN NOIR
Seven years after the success of Jules and Jim, François Truffaut teams up again with Jeanne Moreau in this adaptation of the thriller novel The Bride Wore Black by Cornell Wollrich.
Although not one of the best known and most representative Truffaut's films, La mariée était en noir gained recognition over the years and is regarded today as a classic. It was for instance a main influence on Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill.
