Véronique Pestel is a singer/song-writer musically trained from an early age (song, dance, piano). She started her career in the early 80s and soon she was playing support for major singers such as Nougaro, Serge Reggiani and Juliette Greco. As an artist, she puts music to poèmes, in the great French tradition. She also covers work by other authors mixing styles and genres. Throughout her career she took part in many French and French-speaking festivals such as Bourges, La Rochelle, Lausanne, Charleroi, Montréal. This event is organised in collaboration with the Cultural Service of the French Embassy and the Festi’Val de Marne. Wednesday 10 March at 8pm
