Booklaunch. Listed for the Chambery festival of first fiction and the Literary prize for new authors in fiction, Hélène Le Chatelier makes her first literary debut with the novel Dernière adresse published by Arléa editions. Born in 1974 in Bourges she now lives and works in Dublin and, with a lively style, tells the story of this old unworthy Irish woman who casts a lucid eye over her life and the people around her.
Si la vieillesse est un naufrage, l’écriture modeste et profonde, elle, est une ascension lente vers un vrai plaisir : celui de lire un bon premier roman. C. Dupont-Monod's review in Marianne.
