Teachers' workshop: Sung French as a pedagogical tool

Saturday 13 November 1 – 3pm

Through exercise and vocal games, this workshop offers teachers of French as a Foreign Language, as well as secondary school French teachers, some strategies to develop oral and aural skills and provide their students with the courage to take the lead in conversations and to improve structure and pronunciation.

The musical theatre of Georges Aperghis, who combines poetry and humour, the speaking voice and the singing voice, will provide the material used by Laura Zimmerman, a professional singer, who is currently directing the choir of the Alliance Française Dublin.
