PANCAKE TUESDAY WITH MUSIC

Tuesday 8 March from 7pm to 9.30pm


Before the deprivations period of Lent, come to the Alliance Française and celebrate Mardi Gras, Shrove Tuesday, in Carnival style! You’ll have some delicious pancakes lovingly prepared by the Café la Cocotte while enjoying Cajun music played by the band Prison Love.

Paul Mulcahy - steel-string Guitar, 5-String banjo; Mark O’Mahony - lead vocals, washboard ; Konrad Liddy - double-bass; Adrian Hart - fiddle, harmony vocals and Dave Holden - mandolin, harmony vocals will “deliver exquisite musicianship and great fun in equal doses” (Prison Love).

A free glass of cider will be offered to anyone who dresses up or to anyone who wears a disguise (ex: hat, wig...). Best fancy dress wins a surprise!

€20 for AF members / €22 for Non Members
(1 or 2 savoury sarrasin galettes + 1 or 2 sweet crepes with 2 glasses of cider/ pers)
